The lot is located 5 minutes from the city of Savannah, and 20 minutes from Pickwick Dam. The lot is situated in a gated community—no loud music after 10 PM. The main draw will be the proximity to the Tennessee River. The sunsets are amazing in this area. No popup campers or tent camping is allowed. We offer our own camper available for usage for an additional fee.
We have a beautiful campsite on the Tennessee River in Savannah, the Catfish capital of the World. The National Catfish Derby’s World Championship of Catfishing is held in Savannah every year. Additionally, the Annual Catfish Festival is held close by in Scottsboro, Alabama. This is the best spot in the world to come and catfish. You will only need to bring yourself and your fishing poles as we will provide everything else.
While Savannah is known as the catfish capital, the Tennessee River offers excellent kayaking opportunities. The property has access to Horse Creek that connects directly to the Tennessee River. A proper boat ramp is available. It will be the perfect spot to go catfishing, kayaking, relax, or enjoy nature. It is within 15 miles of Pickwick Dam.
The campsite will offer a camper with electric and water hookups. Everything is taken care of for you. Just show up and enjoy hassle-free camping.
