Coleman Lantern 17B – Setup at the campsite (2021)
by Brian Johanan onIf it is your first time out to a campsite, there may be multiple thoughts in your head. Could any of them be apprehension? For those that are new to camping, every part of the trip can be worrying. We want to help make your trip successful and delightful. In this post, we will help you connect your camper once you have arrived at your destination. We are using a 2021 Coleman Lantern 17B in this video.
Before you unhook from your camper, you will want to have leveled your recreational vehicle. Our units don’t have auto-leveling features and will require you to do this manually. We have you covered with an instructional video for this step as well.
## Disconnecting from your tow vehicleOnce you have leveled your recreational vehicle, you are ready to disconnect from your tow vehicle. This step is usually easier to complete than attaching to the tow vehicle. If you are using a weight distributing hitch, you will have a couple of additional steps. We recommend using a WDH for safety reasons while towing.
Campsite connections
The video will show you to complete your campsite connections for Trigger, a Coleman Lantern 17B. Your recreational vehicle may have additional features that will require an extra step or two. Watching before your first trip will help you understand what to do when you arrive. You can use it as a step-by-step instructional how-to while at your campsite.
